SUSTAINABILITY
TISEM operates in the wood construction and sustainability business as BREEAM qualified consultants, Passivhaus designers and CLT panel system solution suppliers (KHL representation). Its great potential for sustainability relies on the lower energy required both for the exploration of raw materials (wood) as well as the on-site execution of construction works due to the high energy efficiency of the system. The system also mitigates carbon emissions since wooden buildings contribute to long-lasting carbon sinkage.
FEATURES
TISEM’s Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) panels are produced in Austria by KLH Massivholz GmbH and are made of an odd number of softwood plank layers placed at right angles and pressure-glued together. All timber comes from sustainable forests.
USES
This system enables the construction of walls, floors and roofs and can be used for structural, compartmentation or finishing purposes. It is delivered on-site in its final dimensions.
