Nexclay expanded clay is a natural, long-lasting, incombustible and inert product, does not decompose or rot, nor is it attacked by rodents or insects. Its use allows to reduce the load on the structures and contribute to a significant saving of materials and can be used in different constructive solutions. Due to its internal porosity, the aggregate has important properties of thermal and acoustic insulation.
Located in Aveiro, the Argex expanded clay production unit holds the ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 environmental and quality certification, respectly, and was the first company in the sector to receive the EMAS registration certificate, seeing so recognized its commitment to assume environmental responsibilities far beyond compliance with applicable legislation.
