SUSTAINABILITY

The base material of BOAVISTA frames is silica (sand), an abundant resource with simple extraction that is “environmentally friendly”. This means that, since its origin, fiberglass has a reduced ecological footprint. If we add to this a production process – pultrusion – with low energy consumption and high durability, we obtain a product that, throughout its life cycle, produces a reduced environmental impact on our ecosystem. In addition to these data, we have the excellent performance of BOAVISTA frames systems with thermal transmission values starting at 0.74 W/m2 K, which contributes to a thermally efficient construction.

FEATURES

The BWO60 system allows the manufacture of fixed windows, casement to the outside and projectors. With a minimalist design, this system uses hidden hardware, having a very elegant reading, either inside or outside. This system is very versatile, as it can be used in a modular way, alternating fixed frames with hinged or projecting frames. Its driver for residential solutions is of exclusive BOAVISTA Windows design and has a very discreet design, being fully aligned with the profile of the movable leaf. Alternatively, BOAVISTA presents a crank system, ideal for hospitality projects where it is necessary to limit the opening. The BWO60 system is made of fiberglass pultruded profiles and can be painted in any color. With excellent performances, it can reach Uw values from 1.19 W/m2 K, reaching air permeability class 4 [the best of 4].

USES

BWO60 frames can be manufactured in multiple configurations and can be used in demanding applications, such as construction by the sea, in aggressive and polluted environments or in extreme temperature zones. They are highly resistant to corrosion. They can be used in classic or modern architecture, having been thought to be used in small rooms, saving space inside the houses.
