acronym for Regulamento dos Sistemas Energéticos de Climatização de Edifícios (Regulation of Energy Systems to the Climatization of Buildings). Establishes the rules to take into account the sizing and instalation of climatization energy systems in buildings and the conditions to observe in order to: the thermal comfort requirements and the interior environmental quality in the buildings can be assured in energy efficiency conditions; be guarantied the facilities’ quality and security; be safeguarded the respect for the environment. It took effect on the 4th July 2006 and it is mandatory for all buildings covered by the RSECE.
