Nitrogen oxide gases (NOx) are made out of nitrogen and oxygen. The oxide nitrogen are subproducts of combustion processes and are generaly found on car exhaust and on the emissions derived from the use of energy from fossil fuels, such as coal and gas. The NOx are greenhouse gases and ingredients to acid rains.
